Hi, and welcome to my website! My name is Julia, and I am a multi-genre author, blogger, and book reviewer. Poetry, fantasy, and fiction are some of my favorite things to write. I’ve been a Floridian all 22 years of my life, and I’m simply striving to follow God’s plan for me! With this blog (and all writing endeavors) I hope to encourage and inspire every reader, but most importantly, glorify God.
Expertise
For over eight years, I’ve been growing in creative writing. During this time, I honed these skills through various workshops and educational courses—such as editing, world-building, outlining, and novel workshops. I specialize in fantasy, but I also dapple in poetry and fiction. Through the years of avid reading, I’ve developed a skill set for detailed and informative book reviews and have been invited to join two book reviewing platforms—Reedsy Discovery and Book Sirens.
About My Blog
My blog has become dedicated to writing book reviews and supporting authors in this critical area—usually for independent and newer authors. Some posts entail profound realizations and miscellaneous topics God places on my heart to share. Each post is geared toward one thing: helping and motivating others, but especially honoring my King!
What I Do
I am currently a full-time writer with too many stories to tell. August of 2024, I published my first book “He Is Faithful In Every Season”–a Christlit award-winning title. My second book, “Who I Was,” released December 1, 2025–another collection of poetry and devotionals on being made in the image of God. In my spare time, I beta read for upcoming authors, and write book reviews. I’m also working on my biggest writing project ever: a fantasy/dystopian series! Proofreading is another career route I plan to take after tackling a handful of projects for author friends.
